The hygger aquarium heater HG079 is made of the most stable nickel-chromium heating wire, which can quickly and stably transfer heat to the surroundings, making water heating faster and more durable. It has a built-in dual temperature control system of Fahrenheit and Celsius, allowing you to long press the controller's setting button for 2-3 seconds to switch between the two.

This aquarium heater features an intelligent temperature and water sensor system. When the heater is out of water, the water temperature exceeds 93°F, or falls below 59°F, the heater will automatically stop heating (continues heating when the temp. is below 59°F), and the controller will display error codes and sound an alarm. Error codes include HH for overheating, LL for low temperature, and L1 for heater out of the water. These multiple protections ensure fish safety.

The heater is equipped with a super clear digital LCD controller (higher resolution than LED), which displays the current water temperature, the set temperature, the heating status, and warnings of ultra-low/high temperature or auto shut-off. This allows you to easily monitor temperature changes in the aquarium. The 10 ft long cable and external controller make temperature adjustment, ranging from 59-93°F with ±0.1°F accuracy, very easy to operate.
